To Delete a Tag

You can delete tags if you have the appropriate permission. Tags must be free of all relationships in order to delete them.

CAUTION: Deleting a tag removes valuable historical information. Before you delete, consider marking it Historic instead, by setting the Date Obsolete field.
  1. Open the tag you want in the Content pane.
  2. Make sure all relationships have been removed.
  3. Click the Delete icon in the action bar.
  4. When prompted, click Yes to confirm.
